The elderly tortoise they befriend is appropriately named Grandpa. The first stop on the Wild Kratts' tour of really old creatures is the Galápagos Islands where the team meets the world's oldest living reptile: the Galápagos tortoise. Upon hearing the legend of said fountain, Zach decides to follow the Wild Kratts for the next best thing to the fountain of youth: animals that can exceed at least 100 years of living. Desperately, he calls Donita Donata for some skin care aid, but there's nothing she can do to help him. The gang then begins to wonder about animal lifespans and if any animals can live for 100 years or more, so they decide to travel the world in search of the longest-lived creatures.Īt his home, Zach Varmitech is shocked upon finding a wrinkle on his face. Martin decides to name the macaw Juice 2 in honor of the original Juice, giving him a small amount of closure. Just then, a brilliant scarlet macaw comes flying in an amazing example of an animal with great longevity living up to 80 years at most. So that means that Juice had a good long life and it was just his time. And even the insect's death looks so immediate, fruit flies live in adulthood for a good few weeks before their passing. However, as quickly as the team is introduced to the bug, Juice soon dies, saddening the Wild Kratts Martin especially. That is until he introduces the rest of the Wild Kratts team to his pet fruit fly, Juice. ![]() In South America, Martin enters the Tortuga where he seems to be talking to himself.
